If you are having issues with your SCAN forms or barcodes not scanning properly, this is most likely caused by Chrome’s PDF viewer. In order to fix this, all you need to do is to disable the Chrome’s PDF viewer and use Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader instead. You can download Acrobat Reader here.
First thing you should do is to make sure tht you are indeed using Chrome’s PDF viewer. To check this, you need to simply go to one of your shipments and preview the label. If the bar at the bottom looks like the ones below, this means that you are deffinitely using Chrome’s plugin.
Now, in order to disable this, you will need to go to the address bar and type in the following: chrome://plugins and find the Chrome PDF Viewer section and simply click on Disable,
Next, please go ahead and download Adobe’s Acrobat Reader, using the url provided above. As soon as that is installed, once you go and preview any pdf files, Adobe Reader’s grey bar will display. Use the Printer icon from this bar to print your label using Adobe Reader and now your SCAN Form should be scannable by your USPS driver or Post Office.
